My maternity & newborn packages book quickly - don't put off 'til tomorrow what you can do today! (I'm booked solid through summer 2012. See the Snap-Button blog for updated availability.)

la philosophie
My focus — and my passion — starts with maternity and newborn photography through your baby's first year. I do not divide my photographic-time with pet, wedding and event photography.

Being truly specialized in what I do is reflected in the heirloom portraiture that will grace your family's walls for generations to come. My creativity, attention and devotion remains centered with what I do best.

I offer traditional studio-style or natural light outdoor sessions with portraits proofed in both "black and white" and color. You can opt to have a studio session in the comfort of your home. I am also available for maternity boudoir — and contemporary outdoor and beach sessions on-location at local parks, area attractions, and Atlantic or Gulf beaches.

I am currently booked solid through summer 2012 and I am not taking additional bookings at this time. I plan to spend the early half of 2012 focusing on my duties as Contributing Editor and monthly columnist at Professional Photographer Magazine, and also on launching an exciting new venture I hope to share more about in Q3 2012. (The project is something I have worked very hard on for the last several years and I can't wait to see all that time and energy come to fruition!)

Please use the contact form to inquire about being placed on a waitlist, or the possibility of a fall / holiday 2012 mini-session.

For maternity and newborn portrait session events, I advise all clients to book as early in advance of the desired session date(s) as possible. I am typically booked weeks, sometimes months, in advance — especially as the holiday season approaches each year.

I highly recommend contacting me immediately at the end of the first trimester for maternity sessions, and no later than the end of the second trimester for newborn photography.

It is typically best to photograph a maternity session by week 28-34 of pregnancy, and a newborn session within the baby's first 10-14 days of life. Waiting lists are available, but only a session reservation fee payment will guarantee your reserved date and time. Extra dates are set aside in my calendar for "belly to baby" and "baby's first year" packages.

Check the blog's "AVAILABILITY" for open dates and fill out the CONTACT FORM for session inquiries. (NOTE: You will reach me faster by e-mail / contact form than by phone. I keep my ringer off during sessions to not disturb little ones, and I keep very late office hours.)

Robyn O'Rourke Pollman
From theknot.com / thebump.com "Bump Contest photographer tips":

"My goal with personalized custom portrait sessions is quite different than the corporate ‘cookie cutter’ approach. I want the client to know how important they are from the moment they open their first communication from me, to the session, on through the day they open their perfectly packaged order...

...Helping a family preserve a smile, a sigh, a yawn, a kiss, or the way their baby looked at a moment in time is honestly the reason I love being a photographer.
" —Robyn L. Pollman
