The title from the last giveaway (#31) is the French translation of “My Way” – I thought the lyrics quite appropriate for what turned out to be an 8-day event! I also have a special connection to the song. It is one of my first memories as a child, and I could not have been more than 4 years old at the time. I remember walking up to the counter at TG&Y with a 45-record of the song, and plopping down my ‘hard-earned’ allowance on the counter. I felt so big and so proud at the time, and now it just makes me giggle (as I’m sure my family did watching me). No Bay City Rollers for me!
