The title from the last giveaway (#31) is the French translation of “My Way” – I thought the lyrics quite appropriate for what turned out to be an 8-day event! I also have a special connection to the song. It is one of my first memories as a child, and I could not have been more than 4 years old at the time. And now for something completely different… I’ve been asked several times to do a “pullback” shot of my home shooting space. Things have changed quite a bit since the last time I posted a photo. For starters, I flipped rooms with the playroom and formal dining for more ceiling height. And I guess “the biggie” would be that I’m now shooting with Alien Bees. I used hot-continuous studio lights for 5 years so it’s a bit of a learning curve for me. However, it’s a necessity now that I’m doing product / magazine photography. Some of you might remember that we literally had to start over from scratch with our home and my business a year ago, so I’m pretty proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish in such a short period of time!
