Hello! My name is Tonya Dalton, and I’m the owner of Kotori Photo Jewelry. I’m a busy mom, like many of you, but creating jewelry for photographers has become my passion. I have a true appreciation for the art of photography – which is why our jewelry focuses all the attention on the images you create. All of our pieces are completely handmade and totally customizable so your clients can mix and match items to create their own unique piece.

Most people think of photo jewelry as just another add on to their offerings, but it can be a powerful marketing tool as well. Unlike your traditional prints and albums which sit beautifully inside a clients home, photo jewelry walks around with your clients. It’s like a little walking billboard of your work that goes to the local play group, grocery stores, everywhere. And when people ask about the jewelry, and believe me they do, they will hear your studios’ name. It’s a great referral program.

Many of our partners do mark up the jewelry significantly to generate additional revenue, but we have some who use it as one of their key marketing tools, just marking it up slightly or even giving it away. They incorporate our jewelry into their packages and even use it as a thank you gift.

One photographer gives every bride she shoots one of our charm bracelets with an image from their engagement session to signify the start of their new life. In the future, when that bride has children and wants newborn or family portraits, she’ll go back to the photographer so she can add her growing family to her original bracelet. This can create a strong returning customer base.
