I apologize if your feelings were hurt — but it was about the winner’s win and praise of her winning photo. It had nothing to do with any other photo than the one being congratulated. That said, unanimous is kind of a relative term when there were only two people doing the selection. But we each picked our winners separately and then compared. Number one at the top of our list was the same image. I guess I just fail to see where giving kudos to the winner translates into everyone else being a ‘loser’. All entries were appreciated and entrants were thanked for participating. In a competition with two prizes, only two people walk away with them. So try, try again with the next contest!

winning photo was GREAT! but ‘unanimous’ just kind of upped the ‘loser factor’ for the rest of us …. (hence the ouch)

I couldn’t use random.org as I usually do because the comment numbers were broken up with photo entries as well.

We have a winner in the random-drawing portion of the contest now as well! I put all the eligible numbers on a piece of paper, folded them in half, and put them inside a hat. My 6-year old did the honors of pulling out the winning number: It belongs to Leeann Marie for this comment. Congrats and thanks Leeann Marie - I'll get you in touch with Gabi to claim your prize!
